During the summer we can all be overwhelmed with the amount of free time. So why not use that free time to create super cute and trendy crafts.
Here are 4 things to do this summer to keep you out of boredom.
1. First is making bikini baskets. Bikini baskets are the trend of the summer! All you need to do is get any size wooden crate, acrylic paint, stickers, glitter, sea shells and the list goes on. These baskets not only hold your swimwear BUT they beachify any room you put them in.
2. The next best thing, that never gets old is hand-making bracelets. There is nothing better than coming up with the cutest color combos to thread and create the most charming beaded jewelry! From making friendship bracelets, to just creating your own, with a unique style that only fits you, to threading jewelry for others!
3. Jump back to the 2000s with this one...HAIRWRAPS! It's as easy as threading beads into a braid or more complex like taking string and wrapping your hair. For a beaded braid you first need to take a small section of hair and dampen it. Then you will split that section into three smaller parts. Start braiding! As you make your way down the braid carefully slide pony beads through the ends of the hair. Once the bead it on, slide it up and continue braiding! After adding as many beads to the braid you like you can tie off the hair and watch as you beachify your hair! To get a more complex hair wrap you first need to take a small section of hair and tightly create a mini braid. Once the braid is done you need to pick out your favorite colored thread. Take the thread and loop it through the very top part of the braid where your hair meets your scalp. Then tighly start wrapping the thread around that section. At the end of the braid tie the thread off with the end of a hair band to keep that trendy wrap in place.
4. Get out of the house and GO to the lake! Take these fun actives and enjoy them lake side! Going to the lake or beach is peak summer time fun. Invite some friends, grab snacks, get supplies for these crafts, and head out! Nothing is more enjoyable than being with your friends, by some water, doing things that keep you happy and entertained!
